You will find this Geocache hidden under a holly tree on the eastern fringe of Swinley Forest. Look for free parking near the swings and slides of a recreation field. This is the usual large Lovelock geocache with disposable camera, to take a picture of yourself, logbook, and numerous low value toys and momentos.

Egg on face! A return to this location in bright morning sunshine with Heffalump007 quickly revealed all - the cache was barely concealed 5 metres away from where I'd looked. The holly tree is fighting back but the cache no longer lives underneath it. The cache was very damp however we dried it as well as we could and removed mildew from the exchange items.

Thanks Sandvika. I see you are now a short walk from our home at 22 Armitage Court :-) Email me direct if you wish on saying where you looked. It will be very easy to describe the spot within a few yards. When I last checked the spot I spoke with the landowner as I looked at the cache - planted many years earlier - with the land owners permission. I just checked the lat/lon above with google earth and it's within 10 yards (google earth is often further out). Maybe a visitor has removed it. Suggest we speak soon. You will find the caches I've checked recently at the top of - but use the navicache link.
I could not find it. 03 Sept 2007 by  sandvika   (Finds: 51   Score: 142.5)   (Hidden: 13   Score: 66.5)

Regrettably, it seems to me that the holly tree that provided cover for the cache has been "pruned" in the loosest sense of the word into virtual non-existence and the cache was nowhere to be seen.

I'll email the owner with photos I took of GZ to confirm its demise or else, my wrong location!

Pleasantly surprized to see it here, after almost exactly five years ! Log book a little bit damp, but still usable. Dried inside of big box as best I could. Put back where it was after writing in the log book.

Despite going against the GPS for a few minutes having a preconcieved idea, decided to trust the lat/long and saw it!

Left a little game and took a Red Devil, Angela took a photie of Isobel & self.
