“Small wheel turn by the fire and rod
Big wheel turn by the grace of God
Every time that wheel turn ‘round
bound to cover just a little more ground”

This is one of many microcaches located along the westbound side of the New York State Thruway. It’s intended for the weary traveler on the run looking to break up their trip a little or to just get out and stretch their legs.

Painted gray and clearly marked “Geocache”, this cache contains a log and small pencil (but as these seem to disappear, it might be a good idea to bring your own pen/pencil). It is large enough for a Geocoin or Where’s George bill swapping but not much else.

Please be very careful to avoid being seen, especially by thruway personnel.

This is my second microhide…enjoy!

Turned this one into a park & grab by using the back roads. I've been meaning to grab this one for some time, but it seems like every time I'm in the area, the cache is either unavailable or it's pouring rain or snow!

Sorry gang, this one has turned up missing as well as it's sister micro "Truckin'". I'm temporarily disabling this one until I figure out what to do next.

Man, talk about your awkward caches!
I tried my hardest not to be too obvious in retrieving the cache; even waited for a Burger King employee to go back into the building before I tried to retrieve the cache.

I picked up the TB - other than that, TNLNSL. Thanks for the hide! I hope I was stealthy enough to not compromise the cache!

Very quick find, since I'd found it's nearly twin cache a couple of months ago. As I approaced GZ, some annoying trucker decided he had to park right in front of the cache. But he quickly retreated to his sleeping compartment, while I snatched the cache and signed the log all while doing the now familiar rest stop cache pretending to talk on the cell phone feint. Thanks ScouterMark.

Dropped off Xerxes TB. He's headed home to Seattle, WA.
Take him ONLY if you are going west please.
