The Watauga Presbyterian Church building was erected in December, 1893, and is one of the oldest buildings in the area.
Origanally established in 1867 by 13 settlers, the Watauga Presbyterian Church, (origainally the Willow Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church) has been continuously serving the Watauga community for over 130 years.
In front of the building stands a historical marker and a bell. The password to complete this cache is the year the bell was donated by the Keating family. Once you find the password, click here to verify completion of the cache, and for a link with more information about this historical site.
*** I have no connection to this church - I just think it's a cool location!
