Located in the Honeoye Creek FWMA (state land), this cache will require some bushwacking through overgrown fields and crossing several drainage ditches. It's really a pleasant walk through this area with great views to the south of the Bristol Hills. The mosquito rating is a definite 5.

The cache is a clear rubbermaid container with a white lid. There are a number of possible ways to enter this area but one direction involves a difficult creek crossing, another crosses private land, and a third makes for a hike of about three miles, so you had better study the maps for this trip.
Like my first cache, this one has a first finders prize of a gift certificate to the Custom Brewcrafters in Honeoye Falls (N 42 deg. 56.949 min, W 077 deg. 34.925 min).
The cache contains an assortment of trade items as well as a log book and is relatively easy to spot once you have reached the right area.

I found this nice hide right after locating the Christmacahe. This was a perfect day to hike to this one. It looked like someone else was ahead of me earlier in the day on snowshoes but they didn't go all the way to this cache. This was a very good hide and everything was in good shape. I cammoed the cache a little better than I found it. I didn't take or leave anything and I signed the log. The view from this location is spectacular. I plan on making a return trip in the spring to see the area once everything starts growing again. Thanks for the good walk to this one, I was really needing to get out of the house and get over my cabin fever. -Paleoman52-

1st of 8 Finds Today 27 Dec 03, Found at 8:55 AM
Daughter Melissa (Miniharv) drove up from Virginia with her new GPS to go caching with dad. This was the 1st one of the day. Nice hike with no wet grass or even snow. We both spotted it at the same time from about 100 feet. Easy find without the foliage on. A deer hunter had found it during hunting season and signed the log since the last Geocacher had found it back in September. Signed the log, TN/LN and enjoyed the view before leaving. Thanks for the nice hide.
