A simple virtual cache. The question is - what do you find at this location, and what is its date? E-mail your answers to this autoresponder, don't post them here even if encrypted.

As this is a virtual cache, please remember to have your answer confirmed before logging.

In truth, the real value is in the view from this point. Caught at the right time on the right day (choose to arrive at the car park to for dawn or dusk), the view can be remarkable. At dawn in the autumn I have seen a fog rolling up and and down the hill from the valley below like a white sea - spectacular - and at dusk on a clear day the lights of the local town below and Gatwick in the middle distance are worthy of the visit. If you have further leisure time it's an ideal place to start a walk from.

For a greater challenge the cache (not for children)Inclined to be Nervous is sited very nearby.

Boxing day is becoming a traditional caching day for Team Sandvika. The coordinates for this virtual seem rather AWOL - Middle of the "P" on the OS map but actually in the middle of a field adjacent to the M25, not with the view...and the you-know-what we were supposed to get the information from. Anyway, an easy find. Thanks Sandvika #1460

While I wouldn't have come here only for a virtual cache, I was in the area for "Inclined to be Nervous". The view from up here is spectacular, and I had the advantage of meeting up with a local cacher who was able to point out the features of the landscape below over a cup of coffee and a cake from the cafe.

Thanks for the cache,

Rgds, Andy

was going to do this while doing inclined to be nervous, but the co-ords posted would appear to be in the middle of a field next to the M25 and nowhere near the car park in the description. so just a note, to check the co-ords are correct, or should they be an objet near the car park with the view from reigate hill?

Easy to find - though we did choose the wrong car park, and had to walk further... oh well. Inclined to be nervous was our next stop.
